k0nfig: "We didn't expect much vs G2"

Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke answered a few questions about North's triumph over G2 in the fourth round, explained why his form improved, and told us which match-ups he wouldn't prefer in the last round.
The fourth round saw North fighting for their tournament life for the second time in a row, this time against G2 on Overpass. The Danes put up a great T side and came out victorious at 16-9, securing their place in the fifth round.
North survived the fourth round
After the match, we got a hold of Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke to ask him a few questions about their encounter with G2 and the upcoming fifth round:
It seemed like you had a pretty clear plan on the T side against G2, can you tell me what that was and how your offense went?
We anti-stratted matches before, so we know how they play, we played against them before. It doesn't really matter, we didn't expect too much, because they haven't practiced - they went to tournaments but they didn't practice, and we know they're a dying team somehow. We were expecting the same old G2 as before.
A little bit of a back-and-forth on the CT side for you, were there any issues there?
The only problem we had was on the T side, when we went B and they rushed three underground and two short, that was when we felt like this could go bad, we knew they had an eco and we had bad money, so it would fuck up our money as well. We didn't have any problems in closing out the game, we were just a bit nervous, it is our last life so if we lost the game it would be sending us home to Denmark, where we don't wanna go.
At the beginning of the event, MSL said you guys didn't feel on point individually, now it looks like you're getting back on form. How do you feel going into the last round?
I've had problems in these two matches, so I've changed the mouse, setting, resolution, I changed everything. And I play with my original interp now, I played with the wrong interp the whole tournament. So I changed it and somehow it actually worked today, so I played a lot of deathmatch, woke up happy, ate breakfast...
In the next round, there will be a few tough possibilities, like the loser of Astralis-SK and Gambit-FaZe, is there any preference?
We don't have any preferences, we know that these teams we have to play against are some of the best teams in the world. I think the hardest thing will be like anti-stratting someone who made new things, but we can't play Gambit and we can't play fnatic, so if the SK-Astralis game goes bad, we could go against Astralis, which would be the Danish derby as always. I think we don't even care, if you wanna be the best you have to beat the best.
